Our Practice
Though we are a general practice law firm, we focus our efforts on:
- Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings. We will help you determine whether you are eligible to discharge debts under Chapter 7. If so, we will prepare and file all the documentation to complete the process, and will act as your counsel in meetings and hearings with creditors, the trustee or the bankruptcy court. We will make certain you understand which debts can be discharged and will monitor the bankruptcy sale to protect any exempt assets.
- Chapter 12 bankruptcy petitions. If you are a family farmer or fisherman, Chapter 12 bankruptcy may offer special benefits for you. Like a Chapter 13, this process would involve a repayment plan.
- Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions. If you fail to qualify for Chapter 7, want to stop home foreclosure proceedings or want to repay your creditors in full, we will help you seek reorganization of your personal debt under Chapter 13. We will help you prepare and submit a plan of reorganization and will review all proposed repayment plans from your creditors.
- Real estate matters. We handle a broad range of real estate matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, mortgage foreclosure proceedings, real estate litigation and real estate contracts. We will take care of all matters related to the purchase or sale of residential property, from the negotiation of terms through the closing.
